I am temporarily sold out of this item.  Please email me at :onalee@aol.com and I can let you know when I have it available again.  Sorry for the inconvenience.    - Onalee

You are buying 3 really nice unrooted cuttings of St. Anthony's Rick-Rack (Ric-Rac), Zig-Zag or Fish bone cactus. Actually NOT a member of the Epiphillium Genus, the botanical name is Selenicereus anthonyanus (although Epiphillium and Selenicereus are both part of the Cactaceae Family and they do have similar growth habits). It is a night bloomer but mainly grown for it's unusual leaves which are flat and seem to grow in a zig-zag pattern which is where their common names come from.

Each cutting will be 8" - 10" long and will be unrooted (they root easily -- planting instructions are included  -- just don't overwater!).

These plants grow easily in moderately dry conditions and make a great house plant, doing especially well in hanging baskets.   They are hardy to zone 9 and warmer when grown under an oak canopy; so grow as a houseplant in colder zones.

If you're in a tropical zone of 9 or warmer, you can plant these at the base of an oak tree and it will climb the tree by attaching air roots to the bark.  These like indirect but farily bright light, not direct sun.

These plants are EXCELLENT for beginners or even if you don’t have a green thumb - just don't over water them and plant in a well draining, cactus-type soil mix.

*Cautions: These plants do have a milky sap that is a skin irritant in some people, so take care when trimming your plants and don't allow the sap to get on your skin or in your eyes.
