Leavenworth's Coreopsis is the Florida State Wildflower and is a beautiful addition to any cottage or wildflower garden! They look great mixed in with Black Eyed Susans - their similar color but small delicate flowers really compliment them! These are delicate looking plants, with whispy leaves and stems and a profusion of 1" yellow blooms with dark centers that sway in the breeze. They will grow in normal garden conditions, fields and bogs in full sun or part shade and reach 2' tall by 2' wide.

They are self-sowing annual; perhaps a perennial in zones warmer than 9a.
