10 FRESH (will be harvested when they are shipped!) bulbils for a Dancing Girl Ginger, (Globba schomburgkii, G. bulbifera). I've seen these referred to (incorrectly) as G.racemosa, but G. Racemosa is a MUCH LARGER plant.
Full planting instructions will be included with these bulbils. THESE MUST BE PLANTED IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT, THEY WILL NOT STORE. Because they do not store, I have to harvest these as they are ordered, so there MIGHT be a delay in mailing these to you if there aren't enough ready at the time of your order. I will email you if there will be any delay in shipping these.
This low growing ginger (to 24") has lovely bright yellow frilly flowers and blooms from June until October. Bulbils form at the base of the flowers dropping to the ground in fall to sprout more plants for you next spring!
This lovely ginger is a low maintence plant that produces numerous bright yellow 'dancing' flowers from June to October. These ginger are cold hardy to USDA Zone 8a (to 10° F) and prefer full shade. They can grow in moist soil, but mine grow in rather dry conditions in sandy soil. They also make excellent container plants!
Bulbils/Seeds need to be planted immediately upon receipt - they do not store.
