I am temporarily sold out of this item.  Please email me at :onalee@aol.com and I can let you know when I have it available again.  Sorry for the inconvenience.    - Onalee

You are buying 5 BABY Curly "BONNIE" SPIDER PLANTS (Chlorophytum comosum) (sometimes called Airplane or Airline plant). These have good air roots and are ready to be placed in soil and start growing!

You can see an example of the babies in the inset of the photo.

These are the CUTEST spider plants I've seen yet!  Their leaves are variegated with a cream stripe  on the inside with emerald green edges, but what makes them so neat is their leaves are CURLY! And even better are the babies they produce which have leaves that are even more curly than the mother plants, giving a really cool look on older plants with all their curly babies hanging down.

This is the most inexpensive way to start growing your own spider plants, and with these fast growing plants, you’ll have beautiful, large plants with their own babies in no time! I suggest planting 3-4 babies in a 10" hanging basket; they'll grow fast.

These make excellent house plants in hanging baskets or raised on a pedestal or up on a plant ledge so the babies and delicate white blooms can cascade down. They are also excellent outside in a shady spot in a hanging basket or grown as ground cover directly on the ground. They are hardy to 30° F. I have some growing outside in the ground in zone 9 and, although they may freeze back, they always seem to come back each year.

In recent years this plant has been recognized as having particularly beneficial properties in cleansing and ridding the air of pollutants. This makes them WONDERFUL in an office environment to cleanse the air of the pollutants emitted from photocopiers, cell phones and computer monitors.
